CANCELLATION POLICY & ASSOCIATED CHARGES

Reservation Changes & Cancellations

⚠️ IMPORTANT CANCELLATION POLICY

A MINIMUM OF FORTY-EIGHT (48) HOURS’ ADVANCE NOTICE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL RESERVATIONS.

 

CANCELLATIONS MADE WITH LESS THAN 48 HOURS’ NOTICE PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED PICKUP TIME WILL BE CHARGED 100% OF THE TOTAL RESERVATION COST.

ALL NO-SHOWS WILL BE CHARGED 100% OF THE TOTAL RESERVATION COST.

Reservation Changes & Rescheduling

  • Reservation changes or rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup time may incur additional fees.
  • Changes are subject to vehicle availability and operational approval.
  • Changes to pickup location, destination, vehicle type, travel date, travel time, passenger count, or luggage requirements may result in revised pricing.

Sprinter Vans, Stretch Limousines & Bus Reservations

  • A non-refundable administration fee of $50 applies after booking.
  • Special event transportation, large group transportation, Sprinter Vans, Stretch Limousines, Mini Buses, and Coach Buses may be subject to stricter cancellation terms.
  • Once a vehicle has been reserved and allocated, cancellation charges may apply regardless of notice provided.

Payment & Refund Policy

ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE PROCESSED.

REFUNDS MAY ONLY BE CONSIDERED IN EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES AND SOLELY AT THE DISCRETION OF AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION TORONTO MANAGEMENT.

ANY REFUND CONSIDERATION WILL BE REVIEWED ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS AND IS NOT GUARANTEED.

BY BOOKING OR USING OUR TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO THIS NO REFUND POLICY.

Payment Authorization

  • A valid credit card is required to secure and confirm all reservations.
  • All services must be prepaid using the payment method provided at the time of booking.
  • Drivers do not accept or process payments inside the vehicle.
  • By submitting a reservation request, you authorize Airport Transportation Toronto to charge your payment method for all applicable transportation services and associated fees.

No-Show Policy

⚠️ IMPORTANT NO-SHOW POLICY NO-SHOW POLICY

A PASSENGER WILL BE CONSIDERED A NO-SHOW IF THEY FAIL TO APPEAR AT THE SCHEDULED PICKUP LOCATION OR FAIL TO CONTACT THEIR CHAUFFEUR OR OUR CUSTOMER SUPPORT TEAM.

ALL NO-SHOW RESERVATIONS WILL BE CHARGED 100% OF THE TOTAL RESERVATION COST.

A Reservation May Be Considered a No-Show If:

  • The passenger does not appear at the scheduled pickup location.
  • The passenger cannot be reached using the provided contact information.
  • The passenger fails to contact the chauffeur or customer support.
  • The passenger leaves using another transportation provider.
  • The passenger refuses service upon the chauffeur's arrival.
  • The passenger is unavailable despite reasonable attempts to contact them.

Airport Pickups

  • Flight arrivals are monitored.
  • Chauffeurs will make reasonable efforts to contact passengers using the information provided on the reservation.
  • Passengers are responsible for ensuring their mobile phone is operational and accessible upon arrival.

Non-Airport Pickups:

  • A complimentary 15-minute grace period is provided.
  • Additional waiting time may be charged after the grace period.
  • Passengers may be considered a no-show after 30 minutes past the scheduled pickup time.
IMPORTANT NOTICE

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE PICKUP LOCATION WITH ANOTHER TAXI, RIDESHARE, LIMOUSINE, OR TRANSPORTATION PROVIDER AFTER YOUR RESERVATION HAS BEEN CONFIRMED AND YOUR CHAUFFEUR HAS BEEN DISPATCHED.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE ANOTHER TRANSPORTATION SERVICE WITHOUT FIRST CANCELLING YOUR RESERVATION WITH AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION TORONTO, YOUR BOOKING WILL BE CONSIDERED A NO-SHOW AND 100% OF THE RESERVATION COST WILL BE CHARGED.

Taxes & Gratuity

Applicable Taxes

  • All rates are subject to 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST).

Driver Gratuity

  • 15% gratuity applies to Sedan Cars, Minivans, and SUVs.
  • 20% gratuity applies to Sprinter Vans, Transit Vans, Stretch Limousines, Mini Buses, and Coach Buses.

Additional Charges

Cross-Border Fee

  • Buffalo and Detroit border crossings: $11.25 per trip

Child Safety Seats

  • Infant Seat: $15
  • Toddler Seat: $15
  • Booster Seat: $15
Child safety seats must be requested at the time of booking and are subject to availability. Airport Transportation Toronto cannot guarantee availability unless the request is made in advance and confirmed by our reservaBooster Seattion team.

Border Crossing Requirements

Passengers traveling across international borders are solely responsible for:

  • Visas
  • Entry permits
  • Customs documentation

Airport Transportation Toronto is not responsible for denied entry, border delays, inspections, or issues relating to passengers or their belongings.

Luggage Policy

  • Pricing includes the luggage quantity specified during booking.
  • Additional fees may apply for excess luggage, oversized baggage, sporting equipment, boxes, or undeclared baggage.
  • Please notify us in advance if additional luggage space is required.

Lost & Found Policy

Airport Transportation Toronto is not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items.

Recovered items may be returned at the passenger’s expense.

Vehicle Damage, Cleaning & Sanitization

Passengers are responsible for all damages caused to the vehicle.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Spills
  • Excessive mess
  • Vomit
  • Urine
  • Interior damage
  • Exterior damage
  • Professional cleaning
  • Vehicle downtime and loss of revenue

Food, Smoking, Alcohol & Illegal Substances

  • Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited.
  • Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
  • Unauthorized alcohol consumption is prohibited.
  • Cleaning fees, fines, damages, and penalties resulting from violations will be charged to the passenger.

Pet & Service Animal Policy

  • Pets must be disclosed during booking.
  • Service animals accompanying passengers with disabilities are welcome without additional charge.
  • Cleaning or damage fees may apply if necessary.

Service Delays & Interruptions

Airport Transportation Toronto is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • Severe weather
  • Road closures
  • Traffic incidents
  • Mechanical breakdowns
  • Government restrictions
  • Unsafe road conditions

Vehicle substitutions may occur when necessary for passenger safety.

Respectful Behaviour Policy

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding:

  • Verbal abuse
  • Harassment
  • Threats
  • Aggressive behaviour
  • Physical violence
  • Property damage

Service may be terminated immediately without refund if these conditions are violated.
